Engineering lab

We build new products.

Clavis Labs is an engineering lab. Companies bring us the products their own teams cannot build. We build them and hand them over, running.

From a direction, not a spec, to software running in production.

It has a name. It comes up in every planning cycle. It still does not exist.

Building it internally competes with everything already on the roadmap. A new team is six months of hiring away. The big firms need a specification nobody has written.

That gap is our entire business.

Outcomes

What a project gets you

Working software in the first weeks

A direction is enough to start. Early builds settle what is possible while a specification would still be in meetings.

Senior engineers only

The people on the call are the people who build. One project at a time, production quality from the first commit.

Progress you can click on

Every week ends with something running. Decisions get made against real software, not status decks.

Handed over, running

Code, infrastructure, documentation, and the knowledge to operate it. Some companies keep us around after. None have to.

How it works

A small team of senior engineers. We learn how the business runs, then we build.

01

A call with the founder

No specification required. We learn how the business runs and agree on a direction worth building toward.

02

Build to establish

Working software in the first weeks settles what is possible, what should be built first, and what should not be built at all.

03

Deliver and hand over

We take the system to production, then hand it to your team, running: code, infrastructure, documentation, and the knowledge to operate it.

Work

Commerce

Operations layer

5+ data sources → one live system

An AI operations layer for a brand running on Shopify and Meta: product content, marketing decisions, and inventory planning in tools the team uses daily.

Industrial packaging

Workflow platform

Manual coordination → automated pipeline

A production workflow platform for a company managing Fortune 500 packaging projects, built from scratch.

Real estate

Pricing engine

Bid prep cut from days to hours

An internal pricing engine for a major Saudi developer, built around how their bids actually work.

Different industries, the same shape: something needed to exist, so we built it.

Let's Talk

Questions before the first call

What is Clavis Labs?

Clavis Labs is an engineering lab that builds new products for companies: the products that have been decided on but cannot be built by the teams already running the business. Projects start from a direction rather than a specification and end with software in production.

What does Clavis Labs build?

Production systems that did not previously exist: internal platforms, pricing engines, AI operations tools, workflow systems, and products used directly by customers. Recent work spans industrial packaging operations, commerce, and real estate, across the Middle East, Europe, and North America.

Who does Clavis Labs work with?

Companies whose teams are committed to running the business: enterprises and growing companies with a product that needs to exist and no practical way to build it themselves on an acceptable timeline.

How does a project begin?

With a conversation with the founder. No specification is required. The first weeks produce working software that establishes what is possible and what should be built first.

Does Clavis Labs build with AI?

Where it serves the product. Much of the recent work is built around AI: operations tooling, decision systems, content pipelines. The lab is engineering led; AI is a tool in the work, not the deliverable.

What happens after delivery?

Everything is handed over: code, infrastructure, documentation, and the knowledge to run it. Some companies keep the lab involved afterward; none have to.

Tell us what needs to exist.

Limited availability

The first call is a working conversation, not a pitch. If we are not the right builders for it, we will say so.
